Product Concept and Design

Our engineers ideate and create multiple concepts to meet product specifications. Trade-off studies and other techniques are used to down select the concept. This is a critical stage where close to 70% of the product cost is determined. We have fine-tuned an iterative approach that achieves optimal outcomes without compromising the quality of the design while meeting schedules. In the detailed design phase, our engineers take charge of everything, from design to completion along with the definition of assemblies/sub-assemblies, geometry, materials, tolerances, and components considering the manufacturing processes. The output is typically a fully completed 3D definition, Model-Based Definition (MBD), and 2D Drawings that can be used for manufacture.

 

Engineering Simulation

Our engineers create models to simulate components and assemblies. The models allow us to assess and optimize product design attributes and performance in addition to iteratively improving the design. To achieve the most reliable outcomes, we combine our rich experience in performing structural, thermal, fluid dynamics, kinematics, and multi-body dynamics simulations with tools like Ansys, Nastran, Abacus, Hyperworks in addition to using the analytical tools available on CAD platforms like CATIA and CREO.

 

Technical Publications

Product documentation is an integral part of a product launch. We specialize in creating high quality, customer-friendly documentation using our understanding of content creation and publishing tools.
