Independent research firm, Forrester Research, Inc., has mentioned ITC Infotech in its report “Outsourced testing: Customers get the best value when vendors think outside of the box” dated 7th February, 2011. In the report, ITC Infotech is listed as a Testing and Quality Assurance (QA) services provider with a broad range of offerings, and a Testing Centre of Excellence (TCOE). ITC Infotech is one of the companies interviewed for the report. The report focuses on outsourced testing and advices companies to consider important factors such as partnership and strategy and to think outside the box when selecting the most effective testing partner. The report emphasizes that cost alone isn’t enough of a reason to choose a partner as quality strategies and test methodologies must also come to the forefront. The report also sheds light on how if customers’ current applications’ quality is lower than required or if they suffer continual break-fix cycles, looking to a systems integrator (SI) for help with QA or testing practices can be the right choice.

This report by Michael von Uechtritz and Susan Tan, talks about how the 2010 Hype Cycle for Consulting and System Integration reflects a mood of cautiously optimistic growth. The report lists ITC Infotech as a sample vendor for Process Management (BPM) in C&SI, Application Testing Services and Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) Services. This report by Mike Blechar outlines how the increased focus on measurable, more-agile processes and service orientation is altering staffing, tools and methods of software development. In parallel, governance, planning, control and quality assurance are being refined and strengthened to drive better predictability and support sourcing.

ITC Infotech was included as a sample vendor for Application Testing Services in Gartner’s report Hype Cycle for IT Outsourcing, 2010 dated 30th July, 2010. Authored by Gilbert van der Heiden, this report talks about how IT outsourcing has proved to be relatively stable and attractive in the current economic conditions. It goes on to suggest that organizations use this Hype Cycle to review their sourcing strategies and gauge the potential variety of offerings to meet changing business needs in long-term management contracts.
