B. Sumant is Managing Director, ITC Infotech. He is also on the Board of ITC Infotech (USA) Inc. and ITC Infotech Ltd., UK.

Sumant has been working with ITC Ltd, and its group companies since 1986. In his previous assignment, Sumant was responsible for setting up the snacks business of ITC under the brand name of “Bingo”. He is also on the Board of Technico Pty Ltd which specializes in production of potato seed tubers. Sumant has over 25 years of experience in ITC spanning manufacturing, operations and new business development.

Sumant holds a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Regional Engineering College, Durgapur. He is also an alumnus of the Harvard Business School, Wharton, Kellogg and the Asian Institute of Management, Manila.

Khem Aithani is Senior Vice President and heads Strategic Relations, leading Inorganic growth initiatives including Strategic Partnerships and M&A. He also leads Global Marketing for ITC Infotech.

Since joining the ITC group in 1983, Aithani has worked across various manufacturing and services divisions of ITC. Aithani was the Chief Information Officer for ITC Hotels, before joining ITC Infotech. In his earlier roles at ITC Infotech, Aithani headed the European operations, led a joint venture formation, and established travel, hospitality, transportation and media businesses for the company.

Aithani is B.Tech. in Mechanical Engineering and a Post graduate in Industrial Management & Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur.

V. V. R Babu is Senior Vice President, ITC Infotech and Chief Information Officer, ITC Ltd.

Babu has been working with ITC and its group companies since 1979. In his previous assignment at ITC Infotech, Babu set up strategic business units, created focused account management organization structure and robust project management practices, to ensure timely delivery of IT services to customers. He also led the quality management initiative to achieve CMM Level 5 certification.

Babu holds a M.Sc. Tech in Applied Mathematics from the Regional Engineering College, Warangal and an M.Phil in Computer Science from Central University in Hyderabad. He is a senior member of the IT Committee in the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII), TiE Core Committee, IT Committee in the Bengal Chamber of Commerce & Industries and Computer Society of India.

L .N. Balaji is President, ITC Infotech (USA) Inc., and heads the company’s operations in North America.

Balaji has been with ITC since 1985 and has carried out diverse responsibilities across different businesses of the company. His assignments included managing indirect taxation, coordinating and consolidating integrated plans for ITC, managing investor relations and serving in the office of the Chairman, ITC Ltd. Balaji was previously responsible for strategizing and implementing growth through mergers and acquisitions.

A Bachelor of Commerce form the Madras University, Balaji is also a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India.

Rakesh Batra is Chief Financial Officer, ITC Infotech. He also leads the Mergers & Acquisitions initiative.

Batra joined ITC in 1986 and has over 25 years of experience in financial management, strategic planning, treasury and taxation in the consumer products, IT and ITES businesses. Prior to his current assignment, Batra was Chief Financial Officer of a start-up public limited company, which was a joint venture of ITC Infotech and Sitel (erstwhile Client Logic).

Batra holds a Bachelor’s degree in Commerce (Hons.) and is an F.C.A.

Hardeep Garewal is President, ITC Infotech Ltd., UK and heads ITC Infotech’s European Operations.

Garewal joined ITC Ltd. in 1988. He spent the first 12 years of his career in the FMCG business, starting off in the trade marketing and distribution function of the tobacco business. Garewal took over as Marketing and India Business Development Head, ITC Infotech, and was later appointed CEO, ITC Infotech Europe.

Garewal is a Chemical Engineer with a B.Tech (Hons.) from Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur, and holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Marketing from Indian Institute of Management, Kolkata.

Sunil Gupta is Senior Vice President, ITC Infotech and is responsible for Banking, Financial Services and Insurance (BFSI).

During his stint of 11 years with a leading Indian IT company, Gupta worked in different domains, platforms and areas of IT services and played a major role in banking group and healthcare practice. After spending about 10 years in Dubai, Gupta was involved in transforming a company from a Y2K shop to a software house. He was Executive Vice President in his next assignment, before joining ITC Infotech.

With a master’s degree from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur, Gupta has over 30 years of experience in IT services organizations in India and overseas, in diverse facets of the software industry.

S. Janardhanan is Senior Vice President and CTO (Chief Technology Officer), ITC Infotech and is responsible for Infrastructure Services.

Before joining ITC Infotech, Janardhanan managed the software development facility of the information systems division at ITC Ltd. During his tenure with the ITC group spanning over 30 years, Janardhanan acquired a wide range of experience in the demand and supply area of IT services.

Janardhanan is a post graduate in Computer Science from the Indian Institute of Technology, Mumbai.

Ashwani Maheshwari is CEO - India Business, ITC Infotech. He currently oversees Large Mission Critical Business Accounts, Enterprise sales and E-governance business.

Maheshwari joined ITC in 1997 as Branch Manager of the tobacco division at the Saharanpur factory, where he reformulated the supply chain strategy to bolster capacity utilization and increase asset turnover. He has also led horizontal integration of manufacturing facilities by leading turnaround projects and upgrading a subsidiary business. In his previous assignment as COO (Chief Operating Officer), Central Project Organization, he directed large strategic projects for ITC Ltd.

A Mechanical Engineering graduate of 1989 from IIT Roorkee, Maheshwari has a Sloan Masters in Leadership and Strategy from the London Business School.

V. V. Rajasekhar is Senior Vice President, ITC Infotech and is responsible for Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) and Engineering Services. Rajasekhar also leads the Business Consulting Group (BCG).

Since joining the ITC group in 1989, Rajasekhar has led and participated in several major IT initiatives across various business divisions of ITC Ltd. He was also associated with the ITC e-Choupal project, the largest integrated rural digital initiative in India.

Rajasekhar is an Electronics and Communication engineer, from College of Engineering, Osmania University and holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Business Management from IIM, Kolkata.

Sanjay Shah is Senior Vice President & Company Secretary, ITC Infotech and Deputy Company Secretary of ITC Ltd. Shah is responsible for ITC Infotech’s Secretarial Function, Corporate Governance Practices and plays a key role in the expansion of the company’s global footprint.

With over 25 years of experience, Shah has worked in various roles in ITC, including setting up the investor service centre and acting as Secretary to the India Tobacco division of ITC Ltd.

Shah holds a Chartered Accountant and Company Secretary degree. He has served as a member of the Chandrasekharan Committee, which was founded by Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI), to deal with issues related to transfer of securities.

V. Sreenivasan is Senior Vice President, ITC Infotech and is responsible for Consumer Goods (CPG), Manufacturing, Life Sciences, Retail, Travel, Hospitality, Transportation, Media and Entertainment. He also leads the ERP(Enterprise Resource Planning) and Loyalty Services.

With over 25 years of experience in the IT industry, Sreenivasan has been responsible for new business development in Europe, Middle East and Africa and for setting up global delivery centers to service key clients.

A graduate engineer in Electronics and Communication from Madras University, Sreenivasan is also an alumnus of Kellogg Management School and North Western University.

Anand Talwar is Senior Vice President - Talent Management, ITC Infotech and has over 25 years of experience. He is responsible for building a ‘world-class’ organization through strategic interventions in talent management practices and by ensuring that the organization has the necessary competitive edge as a ‘knowledge leader’. In addition, Talwar is also championing ITC Infotech’s interests in the areas of Sustainability and Corporate Social Responsibility.

Talwar joined ITC Infotech in 2001 and has built a talent pool of over 4000 professionals. Prior to this, he was in the manufacturing industry handling various responsibilities encompassing human relations management, staff training & welfare and industrial relations.

Talwar holds an M.B.A. from the University of Rochester, USA. He is the recipient of ‘The Global HR Excellence Award’ - 2008/09.
