Our customer is one of the finest virtual supermarkets, currently operating more than 10 large stores.

In order to catch up with the growing e-business, the customer wanted to upgrade its web portal with features of online purchase and order placing for its customers. The customer also wanted to integrate the back office with the portal and automate several processes.

ITC Infotech redesigned the web portal using Microsoft Commerce Server 2000. The new design provided for several options for users to transact based on specific categories and stores. The bookings were enabled online and the system supported the fulfillment of the orders through extensive back office integration.
