Our customer offers a full range of customized solutions from express document shipping to supply chain management. Our customers’ success is owing to their innovative ideas of sending out documentation in advance of cargo arriving, thereby speeding up the process of importing goods.

Our customer wanted to reduce the paperwork in daily courier activities like loading shipment, delivering and pick-up. They needed an application to fit operational requirements with the desired objective of efficient customer service and courier management.

How We Helped

ITC Infotech, the customer’s strategic outsourcing partner, helped develop and implement their global courier application (GCA).

The primary features of GCA include:
  • On-screen signature capture
  • Seamless connectivity with the back-end using GSM/GPRS, Wi Fi, serial cable and IP cradle
  • Remote (wireless) software distribution in devices
  • Software version control in devices
  • Sign-on to tour for pick-up and delivery
  • Load scan of the shipments (barcode scanning)
  • Device administration (supervisor login and control)
  • An online system, to receive any booking (pick-up) requests and other messages like traffic conditions while on the field
