Our customer is a leading global discrete manufacturing company
Business Need
Our customer was using Windchill Foundation 6.2.6 with Sourcing Factor and 6 Gateway enabled Pro/I systems
Multiple repositories of data across various divisions and geographical locations. This made data sharing even more difficult, and application maintenance & upgrades complex and costly
The customer needed to transition to PDS configuration of Pro/ENGINEER Wildfire and Windchill PDMLink to reduce the complexity of the overall systems significantly
How We Helped
Performed migration from FND 6.2.6 to PDMLink 8.0
Sourcing Factor 6.2.6 to PDMLink 8.0 Migration
Gateway Upgrade of 6 Pro/INTRALINK systems to PDMLink 8.0
Executed 6 Pro/I Migrations on three PDMLink 8.0 systems (2 Migrations each) using branching concept
Maintained one PDMLink 8.0 as master system
Performed the other 4 Pro/I Migrations on one PDMLink 8.0 (master) system
Finally, upgrade the master PDMLink 8.0 system to PDMLink 9.0
