OptSustain^™ certified by GRI

OptSustain^™, the first software product developed by ITC Infotech, has crossed yet another milestone - it has become India's first sustainability management software to be certified by the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) as meeting its stringent standards for content and quality.

GRI is the world's leading organization in the field of sustainability reporting, and represents a network of more than 30,000 professionals from diverse backgrounds. It has pioneered a reporting framework which has become the de-facto global standard for sustainability reporting; today, more than 3,000 organizations globally report using this framework.

OptSustain^™ is a web-based tool for the purpose of Corporate Sustainability Management. It has been purpose built to help any organization, irrespective of its size or sector, to capture, analyze and report on sustainability performance data.

The USP of OptSustain^™ lies in the ease with which it can be rolled out in the organization - unlike most other software offerings, which are platforms, OptSustain comes with pre-defined templates for each of the different aspects of environment, social and economic issues. In addition to the GRI, OptSustain also allows the organization to choose to report on one of the various other national and international sustainability frameworks.

The process of verification of OptSustain^™ by GRI was a rigorous assessment that lasted six months, and comprised a thorough check of the content and quality of the software.

This certification by GRI will go a long way in increasing the visibility and credibility of OptSustain^™ globally.
