ITC Infotech has been cited in independent research firm, Forrester Research, Inc.’s report on "Cloud Strategies of the Leading IT Global Service Providers", dated January 24, 2012.

The report sheds light on how the initial exploratory interest by enterprise customers in cloud services has shifted towards more aggressive implementation plans, and its resulting impact on the strategies of global IT service providers. The report highlights strategies being adopted by leading ITO service providers, including ITC Infotech, to address the substitution of cloud services for more traditional IT services — along with infrastructure and applications outsourcing. While talking about strategies adopted by global ITO suppliers who are also major SaaS provider, the report states ITC Infotech’s strategy of pursuing IT management–as-a-service using HP tools and the company’s active piloting of desktop-as-a-service solutions. ITC Infotech is one of the twenty leading ITO and telecom providers interviewed for the report.

ITC Infotech is listed as one of the companies competing for customers in North America that also offer IT infrastructure management services, either exclusively or in conjunction with application development and maintenance (ADM) services. The report discusses how IT Infrastructure Outsourcing (ITO) customers in North America are enjoying a growing range of alternatives for services, encompassing a variety of categories including traditional outsourcers, offshore-oriented firms, and emerging, nontraditional alternatives.

According to the report, a variety of factors, including clients’ continuing demand for cost savings, are contributing to the increased vitality for the offshore infrastructure management segment.
