Keeping in mind the growing popularity of the internet and its unprecedented reach, the client wanted to create an online hotel reservation system to combine the front and back office functionality of the property management system.
This initiative was a part of the company’s strategy to update legacy systems that were unable to meet the requirements of their business that had grown aggressively in different parts of India. Apart from internal efficiencies, the project was also aiming to extend web-based service features to the guests and thus consolidate further the client’s position as a leader in enhanced guest services.
