The Global Investors Meet was held in Bangalore on the 3rd and 4th of June, 2010.
The event was organized by the Karnataka government, which showcased its tourism department, IT and BT department. The event provided a single window to several sectors who participated in the event such as Infrastructure, Food Processing, Health, Power, Education, Tourism, Textiles, Automobiles, Aerospace, IT, BT and Minerals to showcase the potential of Karnataka.

Karnataka stands first among all the States of India in terms of revenue generated from software exports. We are recognized amongst one of the top 5 technology clusters of the World. Software exports from Karnataka amounted to excess of $15.6 billion in the year 2009-20010. This achievement has earned Karnataka's capital city, Bangalore the title of - Silicon Valley of India”
