The customer is one of world’s leading suppliers for kitchen and bath, furniture and engine generators. The customer’s diversified corporate strategy is aimed at creating high quality and innovative products.

Touching a toilet seat is unsanitary under the best conditions, especially in public facilities.Much like the automatic touch-less urinals and sink faucets , the customer wanted to develop an automatic toilet which incorporates an innovative seat cover lifting and lowering system that eliminates the need for the user to touch any area of the toilet with their hands.

As a first step, concepts were sketched and finalized. From the brief sketches, Pro/engineer models and manufacturing drawings were created. Prototypes were built and analyzed. To validate the concept, the product was analyzed using Adams software for motion analysis and Analysis software for static analysis.

The final product was then delivered as a package. The customer has been using this product to showcase their new product ranges.
