Blow out preventer (BOP)

Handling systems are especially designed systems for the prime function of the BOP Handling Systems. This is to safely transport / lift / guide the equipment from the parked / storage position to the well center, or vice versa.

All the BOP Handling Systems are designed to suit the customer’s requirements / rig limitations, are tailor made to any specification and are built from one or more standard products.

Upon receipt of information customer can give a system proposal and suggest additions that can be made to give the most efficient handling system.

How We Helped
ITC Infotech supported and involved in the following activities:
  • Design of BOP Handling Equipments using CAD Tools like Pro/E, AutoCAD, etc.

  • Detail manufacturing drawings
  • Structural Analysis & Design, making structural hand calculation for different types of BOP Equipments using software like Staad Pro, Ansys, etc.

  • Design manual & Technical documentations for all the equipments.
This Design automation has been used to reduce the lead-time for similar set of projects.
