Independent research firm, Forrester Research, Inc., interviewed ITC Infotech for its report “The Mobile Imperative in Retail and Consumer Goods” dated 23rd March, 2011. The report is about using mobile technologies to enrich enterprise interactions with associates and consumers. The report talks about how mobile initiatives are vital to retail and CPG companies and application delivery professionals should assess the opportunities and make decisions about buy versus build. To do this, Forrester suggests that they need to reach an agreement with line-of business colleagues regarding the prioritized use cases or scenarios for consumer mobile interactions. This report contains information from a survey conducted as part of Forrester’s Forrsights for Business Technology. The final survey population contains only those with significant involvement in the planning, funding, and purchasing of IT products and services. ITC Infotech was one of the few select companies interviewed for the report.
