Independent research firm, Forrester Research, Inc. interviewed ITC Infotech among sustainability service providers in its report “Capitalizing on the sustainability consulting services opportunity” dated 01 October, 2010. Sustainability is emerging as the next driver of business innovation and growth for many companies, driven by rising regulatory and customer pressures, the need to enhance their brands, and competitive differentiation. As sustainability has become top of mind in 2010, IT and business consulting service providers have taken significant steps forward in helping their clients grapple with issues such as IT efficiency, green business processes, and corporate sustainability strategy and implementation. The report mentions ITC Infotech’s dedicated center for sustainability that provides sustainability services primarily focused on the Asia Pacific market with plans to expand globally in the near future. Per the report, “The service offerings (of ITC Infotech) are currently dominated by corporate sustainability planning and governance, with a focus on the retail and wholesale, and by finance and insurance industries. Utilizing an on-site-offshore delivery model, ITC Infotech offers services in three main pillars, encompassing consulting services, technical and consulting services, and offshore consulting and research. Currently, ITC Infotech focuses on corporate sustainability planning and governance services, but it expects to significantly grow the IT-for green part of its business in the coming years.”
